Today the first three Mickey Mouse cartoons entered the public domain; within the first few hours of the cartoons entering the public domain multiple high-profile projects were published on the Internet, such as the Infestation 88 announcement, and The Vanishing of S.S. Willie, with more derivate works likely to come in the near future. At around midnight UTC I uploaded the full, uncensored film transfer to the MCL Video YouTube channel, and it's already gotten a couple thousand views, which is pretty unusal considering most of my videos barely hit a hundred views.
